About The Piñata Artist

Hi, I’m Naomi, the artist behind The Piñata Artist. I’ve always been drawn to creating things with my hands — from paper mâché sculptures to whimsical art pieces — and piñatas became the perfect way to combine my love for art, celebration, and community.

What started as a fun project for friends and family quickly turned into something bigger. People began asking for custom designs — not just for birthdays, but for weddings, community events, and business promotions. I discovered that each piñata I make isn’t just an object to fill with candy; it’s a centerpiece that brings people together, makes them smile, and creates lasting memories.

Every piece I create is handmade from start to finish, with sturdy construction, vibrant colors, and plenty of personal touches. I enjoy experimenting with shapes, textures, and details to make each piñata truly unique. My process is hands-on and intuitive — I start with a vision (or your idea!) and let it evolve naturally as I build.

The Piñata Artist is part of a bigger dream- a free store for foster youth and families in need. Every piñata sold helps seed this vision, providing affordable children's clothes, toys, and essentials, and offering a welcoming space for kids to feel valued and supported.

When I’m not working on piñatas, you can usually find me gardening, making art with my kids, or finding creative ways to bring more color and joy into everyday life. For me, this is more than just a craft — it’s a way to celebrate life’s moments in the most joyful, memorable way possible.
